  • How many players are in the class?
My priority is to provide you a small chamber music setting, so I will limit the class to four students.(Also...that's all that will fit in my living room!)
  • I am anxious about playing in front of others- will I be required to play by myself in the class?
No! I do not want to single anyone out and make them feel uncomfortable. We will all be learning together. This class prioritizes a low stress and supportive atmosphere.
Testimonials

Kathryn C.

I came back to the flute after many years without playing. When I first started studying with Laura, I was nervous and unsure of myself. She quickly made me feel comfortable and guided me with techniques for improving every aspect of my playing.

Suzy C.

Laura has a wonderful knack for teaching with positive encouragement and offering various methods to overcome challenges. She is never impatient with my style and pace of learning, understanding that my objective is simply to improve my playing.

Michael L.

Laura is one of the finest flute teachers I've ever studied with.  In one year, I've made more progress than I did in several years at two different universities.  She has rekindled my love for playing the flute.
