I'm an adult student, and I came back to the flute after many years without playing. When I first started studying with Laura, I was nervous and unsure of myself. She quickly made me feel comfortable and guided me with techniques for improving every aspect of my playing.
Testimonials
Suzy C.
Laura has a wonderful knack for addressing my skills gaps without a tone of criticism, but instead with positive encouragement and offering various methods to overcome them. She is never impatient with my style and pace of learning, understanding that my objective is simply to improve my playing.

As an adult flutist who has studied with Laura for a year now, I believe she is one of the finest flute teachers I've ever studied with and I've had many. In one year,I feel like I've made more progress than I did in several years at two different universities when I was younger. She provides a great balance of critique and encouragement during your lesson and has rekindled my love for playing the flute.
